In today’s episode, I have the pleasure to talking with Dr. Deanna Soper. I first met Dr. Soper as an instructor in one of my classes through the Miami University AIP program, and couldn’t wait to talk to her about her work.

In this episode, Dr. Soper talks about her scientific research involving coral reproduction and evolution, climate change, and how she became interested in this work in the first place. Additionally, she describes how she manages to balance her career and family, and simple small ways people can lower their carbon-footprint.

Conservation Suggestions:

Note all the plastics you use through the course of the day. Perhaps even photograph them. Choose one plastic which could be substituted for a less impactful product.
